Terms of Service
Last updated: October 26, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Nexus Mail at https://mail.logiclayerhq.com (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Who operates the Service
The Service is operated by the entity or individual that deploys Nexus Mail for your account (“Operator”). For privacy and support requests, contact support@logiclayerhq.com.
What the Service does
Nexus Mail is a single-seat workspace that lets you:
- Connect your mailbox (Google OAuth or your organization’s SMTP server).
- Create, review, and approve outbound messages, then send them from your connected address.
- Import contact lists, track approximate opens (if enabled), and detect replies where supported.
We provide software tools. You choose recipients and message content. You are the sender in the eyes of recipients and email providers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You must provide accurate registration information.
Account and license
- One paid subscription = one person / one seat. Do not share login credentials.
- A new login may end a previous session on another device (license lock).
- You may only send mail as the mailbox you connected (sender lock).
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or unlawful content.
- Email people without a lawful basis or permission where required (including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and similar laws).
- Harass, defraud, or impersonate others.
- Probe or abuse the Service, other users, or third-party systems.
- Circumvent sending limits, security, or billing.
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of your contact lists and message content.
- Honoring unsubscribe requests and applicable email marketing rules.
- Maintaining your Google or SMTP account in good standing.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Service or others.
Mailbox and third-party services
Connecting Google or SMTP requires accepting those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for outages, policy changes, or account actions taken by Google, your IT department, or your ESP.
OAuth access can be revoked by you in Google Account settings or by disconnecting in the app.
Fees and billing
If you purchase a subscription:
- Fees are billed through Stripe as shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew until canceled via the customer portal or as described at purchase.
- Refunds are handled according to the Operator’s refund policy unless law requires otherwise (contact support@logiclayerhq.com).
If Stripe is not enabled in a given deployment, billing terms are as stated on the pricing page for that environment.
Intellectual property
We retain rights in the Service software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights in content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit your content only to operate the Service for you.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
We do not guarantee deliverability, inbox placement, open/reply accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Email providers may block or throttle mail for reasons outside our control.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR AND Nexus Mail WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100) IF YOU PAID NOTHING, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify the Operator against claims arising from your content, your mailing practices, or your violation of these Terms or law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service by canceling billing (if any) and requesting account closure at support@logiclayerhq.com.
We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, or discontinuation of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that should survive (limitations, indemnity, governing law) remain in effect.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at https://mail.logiclayerhq.com/terms and update the date above. Material changes may be notified by email or in-app notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where allowed by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Operator’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
Disputes should first be raised with support@logiclayerhq.com. If unresolved, courts in the Operator’s jurisdiction may have exclusive jurisdiction unless law provides otherwise.
